Amprobe Skylab, Three Phase Power Analyser
(Amprobe Skylab)

With its capability of reading a True RMS value every 20mS for each quantity, the SKYLAB allows constant control of all electrical parameters in a 1ph or 3ph system. The ability to analyse 3 voltages & 3 currents within 1 second allows the SKYLAB to verify all parameters to IEC EN 50160 (Power Quality Control regulatory standard)

Recording Periods
For each integration period (Selectable from 1-900 secs0 and for each quantity to be recorded the SKYLAB stores the maximum and minimum values as well as the average of all the values detected for that quantity in the set period.
Statistical Analysis
In addition to being recorded for each integration period, the values read every 20mS are also stored inside a statistical table giving distribution curves and charging curves etc.
Voltage Anomalies
For the analysis of voltage anomalies the SKYLAB samples the input voltages every 10mS with respect to two user selectable threshold voltages (1% to 30% of rated voltage value).
Harmonic Analysis (up to 50th)
The SKYLAB is able to analyse and record the harmonic trend, with respect to the fundamental frequency, of both voltage & current as well as measuring the value of total harmonic distortion (THD). The analysed results are displayed as curves, barographs, frequency percentage and numerical values.
Software
By utilising the supplied Windows compatible software it is possible to display the instantaneous measurements (Scope Function) currently being carried out by the SKYLAB (displayed as numerical values, waveforms, harmonics, histograms). Recorded data can also be exported as text or into EXCEL.
The SKYLAB can measure and/or record the following quantities:
Frequency; 3 x Voltages; 3 x currents; Total 3ph Apparent Power (St).
Apparent Power per single phase (S1, S2, S3); Total 3ph Active Power (Pt)
Active Power per single phase (P1, P2, P3); Total 3ph Reactive Capacitive Power (Qct)
Total 3ph Reactive Inductive Power (Q1t); Reactive Capacitive power factor (PFct)
Total Inductive power factor (PF1t); Capacitive power factor per phase (PFc1, PFc2, PFc3)
Harmonics for each Current & Voltage.
